The Melting Pot Makes Maple Leaf Farms Duck a “Big Night Out”
July 2010

(July 20, 2010) – The Melting Pot chain of restaurants will soon offer its patrons something different to “dip into.” From September 2010 to February 2011, the chain will feature Honey-Orange Duck Breast Meat from Maple Leaf Farms as part of its Big Night Out special menu.

Melting Pot restaurants specialize in fondues featuring a variety of international foods. Though they began by offering only beef, Swiss cheese and chocolate dessert fondues, they have expanded the menu to include chicken, salmon, shrimp, filet mignon, Maple Leaf Farms duck and many other selections.

The Big Night Out special menu is a four-course meal choice offering diners a unique dining experience. Maple Leaf Farms duck will appear on the Big Night Out menu at 145 Melting Pot restaurant locations in 37 states, plus two restaurants in Canada.

In addition to its place on the upcoming Big Night Out menu, Maple Leaf Farms will continue to provide duck for the restaurant’s Pacific Rim entrée.
